We're proud of what we do.
But don’t just take our word for it. Fortunately, many of the folks we work with are happy to comment about our performance.
In July 2019 we started the process of searching for an Agency company to partner with for our asset fleet operations. We looked at several partners and we made a decision to go with Meadow Lark. At the time of this letter we have been partnered with them for almost one year and it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made.Shawn CrowleyCEOArmada Logistics, LLC150 Truck Agent
I’m truly glad I came to Meadow Lark. Everyone makes me feel welcome and that I’m more than just a number or another driver. Thank you for the support and encouragement and I look forward to one day retiring from here – there’s no other place I’d rather be!Joseph HinkleDriver
Meadow Lark and Thompson Pipe Group have been partners for the past year and a half. Before this, we were owned by a different company and were partners for several years. They have handled all our logistic needs exclusively over this time. They have been a wonderful and reliable company to work with. Currently, we ship out over 300 loads a week and they handle all our needs from flatbeds, step decks, Over dimensional loads and LTL loads. Trucks are always available, and rates are very competitive. The employees are available 24/7, and their customer service is fantastic. I would highly recommend them as a company to handle any logistic needs. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.Jake AllenShipping SupervisorThompson Pipe Group
I am currently employed here at Meadow Lark and I love this company. I work with Tom and Lee on the flatbed side out of Billings and they care about their drivers. Quick to help with any questions or concerns, they actually listen.Ronald BaileyMeadow Lark Driver

I’ve been driving for Meadow Lark for over twenty years. I like their hometown way of doing business. They know me as a real person and I know them. It makes all the difference between a good day and a bad one.Doug StarkDriver
For 33 years I have been driving a truck and have never been as happy as I am driving for Meadow Lark. I am able to make money, take the loads I like, and go home when I need to. I am not just a truck here, they know me by name and this is where I call home. I am the happiest I have ever been.James MackeyDriver

It takes a lot of trust and investigation to go from being a completely independent business for 35 years to working with an agnecy partner. We had many questions, concerns and were very apprehensive about how becoming an agent for anyone would work out. Meadow Lark worked through all our concerns, addressed them and came up with a solution for our business. We have been very pleased that everything we worked out in the contract with Meadow Lark has been followed without question. We have developed a high level of trust with Meadow Lark and always feel secure that we chose the right Agency partner.
Meadow Lark not only provides the traditional agency services such as insurance, billing and safety but they also provide a robust sales department who looks out for the type of freight that fits our business and the lanes we run. These services from Meadow Lark allowed us to completely eliminate our billing/accounts receivable department, our safety department and we no longer employ a full-time freight sales person. The overhead savings for us have been tremendous and they have put many customer direct freight opportunities in front of us.
In addition to the savings from back office overhead, we have realized several other cost savings. We have eliminated factoring fees and interest. We don’t have to provide our own transportation management software. We don’t have the costs associated with driver applications. We don’t have to maintain a brokerage bond. We purchase physical damage insurance for our equipment at great rates through Meadow Lark. We don’t have paperwork scanning fees. There are a multitude of other small items Meadow Lark takes care of for us that could fill up an entire page. One of the best items Meadow Lark Lark provides is maintaining a fleet of late-model dry van trailers that can be used by various agents to interchange drop and hook loads allowing us to sign on customers with drop trailer freight.
While all the above listed items are provided for us, we still maintain our identity as an independent business. We still operate our company drivers and contractors the same as when we were an independent company. We still deal directly with the customers we worked with previous to becoming an agent without interference from Meadow Lark. We decide what business we want to do just as we always have. That is probably the most important aspect of being an agent for hard-headed, stubborn business owners such as myself. Meadow Lark allows us to focus on the important part of our business (which is taking care of drivers and customers) while they take care of the back office functions that do not generate more revenue for a trucking company.
The best part about Meadow Lark is that we enjoy working with them. Everyone is pleasant, everyone answers their phone and emails and they solve issues quickly. We work together on the issues we all face such as safety, driver recruiting and making a profit. We can talk to our day-to-day operations contacts but we can also contact everyone up the CEO if we need to. We share our ideas to make each of our respective businesses stronger. Being an agent with a great agency It is a great way to run a trucking business that we should have switched to years ago.
If you are thinking of becoming an agent or moving your current agent business I believe you will not regretting going with Meadow Lark. We have enjoyed working with them from the first phone call all the way through today.

Here recently, I hit a rough patch in life and nothing was going right. I was trying to move out of my house and keep working and they set me up with loads that had a little extra time and took me right by the house to get stuffed packed and moved in between and then truck issues while trying to make money before I had my surgery (Murphy's Law just won’t quit). I was frustrated, angry, completely worn down because I couldn’t catch a break.
Both Tom and Lee are good people, as well as everyone else that I've spoken with up there: great attitudes and very friendly and helpful. I had my surgery last Friday and on the following Monday morning they called and checked on me to see how the surgery went, as well as before this weekend came. People like this are hard and very rare to find, and to be able to work with caring honest people like this is like going home. I'm treated like a human and with a true sense of respect and trust. I don’t question if I'm getting treated like the other drivers or office personnel; I know I am and I don't think that I will leave this company.
I know I can make good money and actually succeed in owning another truck with this company. Thank you, Meadow Lark, for being that rare company that truly cares about and wants a driver to succeed, as well as for hiring some of the nicest and most amazing people I have ever had the privilege of working with, and I am looking forward to years of it.

This letter is a testament to the relationship we’ve constructed with Meadow Lark. As a carrier, there are crucial elements you look for when establishing a partnership, all of which must add value and convenience. We were looking for a partner who could assist with customer development, equipment leasing, and cost reduction, leading to higher margins and a healthier business. Meadow Lark has been that partner and continues to be instrumental in the success of our growing business.
Their unique family approach embodies every component we were looking for, including consistent pay, courteous employees, and driver support. Meadow Lark’s dedication has exceeded our expectations and continues to go well beyond normal business hours. We have come to rely on Meadow Lark’s steadfast approach to trucking and commonsense, logistic resolutions. Since the beginning, it has been evident that Meadow Lark values our success and lives by their corporate statement, “Our Word Is Our Bond” in every transaction. Meadow Lark has consistently demonstrated their ability to help our customers and drivers alike.
As a business owner, I sympathize with the struggle of working in an industry where the advantage goes to larger players; transportation is no different. The transportation and logistics industries are difficult and picking your partner can be the key to your success or reason for your demise. We were looking for a trustworthy partner who could offer those advantages like truck leasing, trailer leasing, administrative support, and a superior fuel discount program, among other benefits. Having access to these benefits has helped our office maintain a better work-life balance, leading to a better workplace, greater profitability, and shared workload.
Meadow Lark has earned the title of partner for their support and accommodations in an ever-changing industry. My hope is whoever reads this will contemplate the successful partnership Meadow Lark has been for us and how that can add value to your business.
